This tour comes with the glance of Uganda’s largest national park (Murchison falls
National Park). At this park, you will appreciate the rushing waters of the Nile River
forcing through a 7-meter narrow gorge forming the world’s most powerful
waterfalls, which has claimed its place in the world for centuries. Along the way to
Murchison falls national park, we shall have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for
Rhinos tracking. In Murchison falls you will gaze in wonder at the herds of
Rothschild’s giraffes on the game drive, large scores of African Elephants on the
launch trip to the bottom of the falls. Look out for the Nile crocodiles and Schools of
Hippos. We will end with chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest which is also
located in Murchison falls national park.

Day 1: Rhinos Trekking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
On this day very early in the morning, you will be meeting by our safari guide for a
briefing about this adventure and look forward to the magnificent journey to
Murchison Falls national park. The first stopover will be at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
where you have a chance to track both the black and white Rhinos. These animal
species roaming in the plains of northern Uganda and specifically in Murchison
Falls, but were extinct from poaching. There are credible efforts for breeding for
which they can multiply in big numbers and be re-introduced into the wild. From
there continue with a short drive to the Kabalega dinners for lunch and proceed
with the drive to your lodge in the park or near the park.
Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on River Nile
You will see various kinds of mammals and over 450 coloured kinds of birds, large
herds of elephants, buffalo s, lions. antelopes can be seen including Jackson’s
hartebeest, waterbuck, Uganda kob, herds of giraffe are easy to spot in Murchison
falls national park which is very scenic and is divided by the Victoria Nile. Boat rides
onto the base of the anonymous falls that will provide you with more fascinating
views of the aquatic wildlife like the hippos, crocodiles, water birds, the elusive and
bizarre Shoebill are also spotted.From there continue with a short drive to the
Kabalega dinners for lunch and proceed with the drive to your lodge in the park or
near the park.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking at Budongo
Today morning we transfer to Budongo forest situated within Murchison falls
national park for chimpanzee trekking. Your driver-guide will lead you to the
starting point(park offices)from there you will receive a briefing from the ranger
guide about the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking and how to hike through
this tropical forest. After this fascinating adventure, we transfer to the top of
Murchison falls to explore the wonder where the Nile is forced into a 7-meter gap to
a thunderous roar – creating the Murchison falls. There is a resident scenic rainbowformed making a lens with the crashing water. And rest of the day will be spent at
leisure as we wait to embark on our next activity the following day.
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe
After a relaxed breakfast, we embark on the road trip to Kampala. With lunch
enroute at Kabalega Dinners.
